December 2008

Oleksander Bogdanovich created this set of fighters. The intimidating blades are made from damascus forged by the maker. Layered mokume complements the damascus well on the bolster and handle. The liner is made from copper. See more of Oleksander's work.

The BLT camp knife

Edmund Davidson continues the tradition of big blades with this 13 5/8-inch camp knife. The CPM 154-LM steel packs a wallop on a 8 5/8-inch blade, honed to a Rockwell rating of 62. The glossy finish is the result of satin and hand rubbing. The reigns on this are a handle of white linen Micarta. See more of Edmund's work.
